I have written well over 100 WordPress themes for clients. From 2009 to 2014, I specialized in working with graphic designers to turn their designs into WordPress themes. Designers appreciate my attention to detail, and my commitment to pixel-perfect renderings of their designs. Many of the themes I have built include extra functionality such as custom post types, custom fields, custom shortcodes, portfolios, galleries, etc. Here are a few of the themes that I am most proud of.
Limeade
Responsive site with complicated page layouts and multiple custom post types. The client wanted the ability to edit all of the content on the site, so I had to use a lot of custom fields and shortcodes to make everything easy to edit. The designer only provided minimal guidance about how the site should look on mobile devices.
Barokas
Responsive site with complicated page layouts and multiple custom post types. Like Limeade, everything is easy for the client to edit, so I had to use custom fields and shortcodes. The designer asked for a lot of effects that are hard to achieve with clean HTML, especially on a responsive site, such as the “contact us” section at the bottom of the home page – rounded corners, plus the circular cutout at the bottom.
Weber Shandwick
Responsive site with multiple custom post types. Typography was particularly important to the client, so it took a lot of collaboration to get all of the details right. The site uses several custom post types.
360 Modern
I led a team of 4 people to build this site. The project presented some monumental and unique challenges, particularly in working with MLS data and Google Maps.
